Thank you for visiting the site I have made to exhibit some of my interests and favorite places.  While growing up in Denver, I was always interested in outdoor activities- especially archeology, paleontolgy and collecting minerals.  Since my first visit to the Denver Museum of Natural History as an 5th grade student (now called the Denver Museum of Nature and Science) I wanted to know where those incredible examples of minerals and prehistoric animals came from.   Research, and some great teachers, told me it could all be found (almost) in my own back yard!  I still keep the copy of the Golden Book of Rocks and Minerals I received on my 9th birthday.  After moving to the Western Slope of Colorado and traveling the western states for various employers, I have been able to learn where and how such treasures of nature are found and collected.  Photography is the tool I use to showcase the projects and places I enjoy.
